How to Use (Step-by-Step)
- Step 1: Prepare the Surface. Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and free of any old finishes. Sand the surface smooth with fine-grit sandpaper (e.g., 220 grit) - See Figure 1.
- Step 2: Mix the 2K Oil. Combine the two components of the 2K wood oil according to the manufacturer's instructions. Stir thoroughly for even consistency - See Figure 2.
- Step 3: Apply the First Coat. Apply a thin, even coat of the oil using a brush, roller, or lint-free cloth. Work in the direction of the wood grain - See Figure 3.
- Step 4: Allow Penetration. Let the oil penetrate the wood for about 15-20 minutes. This allows the oil to soak into the pores and provide maximum protection - See Figure 4.
- Step 5: Wipe Off Excess. Use a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe off any excess oil from the surface. This prevents a sticky or uneven finish - See Figure 5.
